The moment you... I have been waiting for.

After months of scheming and planning and saving I finally got a new camera, and BONUS...Lens. I got the Nikon 300s + and a nikkor 50 mm 1.8. Gorgeous. I've been having so much fun just snapping. I still really have to figure out the manual and learn to adjust the camera to my own settings, but I figure i'm allowed a little honeymoon time with my new baby. I'll figure out all of the technical stuff soon. But enough talking... Here are a few snaps i've taken since I got it yesterday. :)

The Gardens

Had the opportunity to shoot the Japanese gardens at the buffalo historical society for a local client who got engaged there! It was a totally overcast and dreary-ish day but I had fun anyways! I've never ever been there so it was really nice to explore. SUCH a gorgeous place, i'm going to have to visit again. Plenty opportunities for good pictures.

Wedding Stalking.

Yesterday Josh and I had a fun day. We went out to lunch and I had the most amazing turkey/apple/brie baguette with dijon mustard and he had an apple and chicken salad. Mmm. Then we went to glen falls. A really pretty little location in amherst that is very popular for wedding photos. There were like three different weddings going on. So I stalked out some pictures, haha. It was kind of hard and I felt totally like the paparazzi but here ya go :

It was my 22nd birthday yesterday and I got a lensbaby muse and accessories kit! IT IS SO AWESOME. Here are just a few little shots I took when I got it! :)
